As the president of Hafnia Financial, Inc., he spearheads research and trading operations. Leveraging his international background and entrepreneurial drive, he offers a diversified yet personalized approach to financial planning. His strategy blends conventional investments with lesser-known, easily accessible solutions akin to those favored by Fortune 500 executives for executive benefit planning.

Specializing in investment allocation and risk management, he provides counsel to individuals, families, and closely held businesses, predominantly managing assets within personal retirement accounts. His commitment to community involvement is evident through his past roles, including serving on the board of the City Ballet of San Diego, where he initiated their endowment program, and advising the Denmark-based international toy company Moover Toys during its initial capital acquisition phase.

Jan’s professional journey commenced at GE Financial, where he swiftly rose to become the top advisor in the San Diego region. Following GE Financial’s transition to Genworth Financial, he elevated his focus to wealth management and collaborated with independent broker-dealers for several years.

He boasts academic credentials, including a Master’s in Social Sciences with a concentration in Business & Communication, Summa Cum Laude equivilant, and a Bachelor’s degree in business from Roskilde University, Denmark.

Jan is duly licensed with a Series 65 investment license and California insurance license # 0D77385.

As the Operations Manager at Hafnia Financial, Inc., he dedicates his efforts to enhancing processes and procedures to drive the company toward greater efficiency and success. His diverse background and multicultural insight bring a comprehensive, both quantitative and qualitative, as well as a personalized approach to operational management. With a firm grasp of legal requirements, regulations, and human dynamics, he integrates a blend of logic and compassion into the company’s operations.

He conducts thorough financial analyses to inform strategic decision-making, encompassing tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. By implementing financial models, he assesses the financial implications of business initiatives, offering valuable insights to the company. Collaborating with external entities including agencies, corporations, and clients, he plays a pivotal role in developing and managing departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with overarching organizational objectives.

Following a tenure at Tencent, Sean resumed his legal pursuits and career, serving in Trial Director Services for law firms while completing three years of Mediation Training under an attorney/psychoanalyst. Additionally, as the COO of Del Mar Credit, Sean forged partnerships with various government agencies and multi-million-dollar enterprises, aiding them in their financial enhancement endeavors and systems analysis.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Antioch University, an LDA License with an LEX designation, and Mediator Certification.
